Facilities for special needs students

Nearly all places on Mendel University campus are accessible for persons with disabilities. There is close collaboration with civil associations that support people with disabilities such as Liga vozíčkářů (Wheel association). University also enables students to train guide dogs on the campus. 

MENDELU welcomes students with disabilities and is prepared to help them to overcome difficult situations associated with their handicap during their studies. At each faculty it offers students with special needs individual approach not only during classes but also during exam period. 

The Counceling Center at the Institute of Lifelong Learning offers, among other services, psychological counseling for studens that is free of charge.
